Kitwave CFO receives award at the Northern Finance Director Awards
David Brind

We are very proud to announce that our very own David Brind, Kitwave’s Chief Financial Officer, received the award for Best Northern Finance Director of a listed company at the 2022 Northern Finance Director Awards last night at the celebratory gala dinner in Leeds.

Over 150 guests attended the awards night, from leading Finance Directors and their teams to business professionals from across the North of England.

The awards, spanning 14 categories and sponsored by Grant Thornton UK LLP, global law firm Squire Patton Boggs and recruitment firm Page Group, paid tribute to the enterprise, leadership, resilience, social impact and all-round excellence of financial leaders and their teams in Northern businesses over the past 12 months.

As well as winning the award for Best Northern Finance Director of a listed company, David was shortlisted in both the Leadership and Deal of the Year categories of the awards.

Commenting on the award, David Brind, Chief Financial Officer, said:

“It is an honour to be recognised alongside the leading Finance Directors from across the North of England at the 2022 Northern Finance Director Awards, a ceremony that spotlights the exceptional talent and vast number of innovative businesses that the North has to offer.

“While I am extremely proud to receive this award, I must take this opportunity to pay tribute to all of my colleagues, without whom this award and Kitwave’s continued success would not be possible.”
